One of the key factors in search engine optimization is link building. I am starting to get the feeling that a lot of companies overlook this. This is HUGE when it comes SEO and should never be overlooked. I have seen companies spend the majority of their online marketing budget creating phenomenal websites and working on creating social media marketing campaigns all while pouring over analytics. Yet…they forget about the link juice. Link juice is what search engines view your content as ‘link-worthy’ and what outside sites link to yours.

I’m always trying to keep an eye out for those that have already created the wheel. I then like to take that wheel and put some nice rims on it and polish it up. So, when I saw a perfect layout for Link Building Strategies over at Point Blank SEO I knew I had to write about it.
It begins with your timeframe and then goes from there. It starts with the basics (setting up a blog, creating a RSS feed, etc.). Then dives into article submissions (Infographic, Press Releases, etc.). Third is content based which includes guest blogging, trade shows and various other concepts. Link attraction – why should you be linked to what’s going on today?
